Paradise is located 11 miles from Santa Barbara 101. Take San Marcos Pass up Hwy. 154. Take a right onto Paradise Road. Travel one quarter mile and you are at the store. Call 805 967 3254 to confirm this date if you're coming out especially to see me. It's a weather permitting deal.
19th, Saturday - Cold Spring Tavern - Santa Barbara, CA. I'll be opening for Karen Thurber at 2pm (half hour - 45 minutes set) and probably sing background vocals on a few of her songs (she'll be playing until 5pm). Come out and support live music, eat good food and enjoy the great atmosphere. If it's chilly, there'll be a fire in the big stone fireplace! OCTOBER:

22nd, Saturday - Paradise Store - Santa Barbara, CA. I'm playing my guitar and singing songs out on the porch at the Paradise Grocery Store. It'll be from 2:30-6:30pm and the wonderful Karen Thurber will be opening.

SEPTEMBER:

24rd, Saturday - Cold Spring Tavern - Santa Barbara, CA. I'm playing from 2 until about 5pm OUTSIDE! California weather is most wonderful. And you can relocate inside for more music - Chris Cairns Bluegrass Band - from 6pm until 9. Come out and support live music, eat good food and enjoy the great atmosphere. JUNE:

Summer Vacation!!!! But If you long to have me play, contact me about doing a house-concert. Bookings at one of our wonderful Santa Barbara venues will be coming up shortly. In the meantime, come and visit me as I hum to the planties in the green houses at Island Seed and Feed at 29 So. Fairview in beautiful oldtown Goleta, California. I work there growing the organic veggies and talking to people about gardening.

MAY:

18th, Wednesday - Soho Music Club - Santa Barbara - I'm starting off this singer/songwriter night playing 7:00-7:40pm, Matthew McAvene 7:50-8:30 (more info about Matthew), Katy J 8:40-9:20 (www.katyj.com), Tina Schlieske 9:30-10:10 (www.tinaschlieske.com), Jesse Rhodes 10:20-11:00 (couldn't find a website). Admission is $5. Great place to have dinner. Come early, eat and listen to the music. Check out Soho's very cool website for more about the venue, directions, etc.
28th, 29th and 30th, Saturday, Sunday and Monday - Topanga Days Country Fair - Check out their website. I'm excited to be playing a short set on Monday at 1:30p at the Cabin Stage. The festival is on the Topanga Community House grounds and is in its 32nd year. It's located in the rural setting within the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains, 6 miles north of the Pacific Coast Highway and 6 miles south of Ventura Blvd. Check out this map.

APRIL:

2nd, That's the 1st Saturday in April- Cold Spring Tavern - Santa Barbara, CA. I'll play from 6 until 9pm. Nicola Gordon and friends will be playing from 2 until 5pm I believe, but call and check to make sure of those times! Come out and support live music, eat good food and enjoy the great atmosphere. 21st and 22nd, The Westmont Fringe Festival - The Westmont theatre arts department presents unique performance art at the Fringe Festival 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday nights in Porter Theatre. I'll be contributing live music for a dance piece choreographed by Vicki Finlayson with set, lights and costume design by Lesley Finlayson.
